Love Yanni's! One of our favorite restaurants. Been coming here for years! The salads, soups, chicken, fish, authentic Greek dishes are all amazing!
Warm bread with spices are so yummy!
I'm getting hungry just writing this review! -

We ordered takeout from Yannis as it was recommended by someone local. I would never order from here again as they do not know how to handle large/ family orders. I ordered side salad for 10 people and got charged full salads, 6 chicken kebabs and 12 oz cup hummus with 5 extra pitas.
We got overcharged on our order coming out to over $300 and an added 20% when we didn't even sit at the restaurant. They charge $20 for a hummus and extra for the pitas.
I would expect that the amount is communicated up front and the person taking the order confirms what the customer is asking for.
I called back to confirm the amount charged and the only error the manager could fix is the added gratuity even though it was the restaurants fault. I would not recommend this place to anyone. -

My parents always take me here when I fly out of Albuquerque on my way back to the east coast. We seem to come at just the right in-between hour after lunch and before dinner so we have the restaurant mostly to ourselves. I think the food is prepared well and the service has been friendly and helpful. I'm sad that I never get to meet the owner, though, or anyone who is Greek! I always want to practice my Greek.
My parents asked me to order since I'm the one who knows how to do things family style. For the three of us, we got baked feta, a meze platter (for two, not four), and pastitsio. Also, bread came with the table. The bread/olive oil were actually awesome--I wish bread came with the baked feta! The pita was also good, but harder to sop up the sauce. I was really impressed with the baked feta. The meze platter was fairly standard...but I think next time I would just order the grape leaves with tzatziki (the two should always come together!). The pastitsio was good and filling- not too overpowering with bechemel, so it felt less heavy. It was the perfect amount for all of us to eat a late lunch and not need dinner!
I wish they'd had more Greek wines to choose from, but I had a white wine, from Crete, and it was okay. I hope the owner got my message I colored on the table cloth, otherwise here it is! -

One of my favorite restaurants in Abq. I have never had a bad meal and the service is phenomenal. Last time I had the duck from their specials, and it was delicious! The duck was moist and beautifully seasoned. The portions were huge, and I had to take part of my meal home. It is a bit pricey, but the price was worth the portion if you enjoy left overs.

We stopped by hoping that there would be a band playing but unfortunately not when we were there. It was pretty dead and only us at the bar. The bartender was so friendly and helped us choose the perfect wine. We'll be going back for dinner and music another night.
